Mr Fidelity ADT visited various schools throughout the province, entertaining children with magic tricks while delivering important crime awareness messages and safety tips.
Schools recently visited included Snug and Safe Day care, Convent of our Lady of Natal, Woodhaven Pre-Primary, Malborough Park Junior School, Pandora’s Pre-Primary, Holy Family Church and many more.
Children were taught to be aware, what potential signs to look out for when in a dangerous situation as well as how to handle these situations and who to call.

“Mr Fidelity ADT covers various safety measures that are applicable at school, home or online in a fun and exciting manner. Given the recent incidents of child abductions throughout the country, this message is more valuable now than ever before,” said Fidelity ADT’s district community development manager for KwaZulu-Natal, Rian Buys.
The was launched by the security company as part of a programme aimed at creating crime awareness among the children of KwaZulu-Natal.
“We believe it is important to be proactive and educate our children on the dangers of crime. At the initiatives, we are able to educate children on a serious topic but in a fun and entertaining manner,” added Buys.
Mr Ward, principal of Snug and Safe Day Care thanked the security company for the interactive and educational safety show.
ADT has been approached by local authorities to get involved in more safety presentations at other venues involving different age groups and audiences.
