Super-sleuth Cato Manor SAPS detectives arrested a 31-year-old man for murder on Monday.
The man was arrested after he allegedly stabbed two residents following a dispute over illegal electricity connections on August 26.
One of the two victims succumbed to their extensive injuries and died at King Edward Hospital.
The station’s communications officer, Cpt CA Sibiya said, a case of murder and assault GHB was then open at the station for investigation.
The suspect appeared in the Durban Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

“This is a warning to all perpetrators of crime that they will be arrested and will do time in prison when found guilty. We urge residents to not take matters into their own hands. If there is an argument, rather talk to the police and we would be happy to intervene,” said Cpt Sibiya.
