Westville Girls High School pupil scoops seven distinctions

Westville Girls High School pupil, Yashthi Behari obtained seven distinctions while also attaining a 92 percent aggregate, recently.

Talking about her outstanding performance, she said, “Despite matric being the most stressful and most demanding year out of my 12 years of schooling, I persevered and persisted throughout the entire year.”

Each and every obstacle she faced was overcome with determination and the desire to achieve seven A’s. “I was filled with utter ecstasy when I received my results as I had achieved my goal of seven distinctions while also attaining a 92 percent aggregate. I furthermore attained 97 percent for physical science as well as 95 percent for Afrikaans.”

She will study Bcom accounting at UKZN and has received provisional acceptance for Bcom accounting. “I have an immense amount of passion for accounting, hence, my desire to follow a career path in accounting,” she said.
