SAAAC offers bursaries to students

The SA Academy of Applied Competence (SAAAC) is offering two 100 percent Tuition Fee Bursaries to the community.

The bursaries are towards pursuing a National Certificate in Small Business Financial Management which is on NQF 4, SAQA ID 48736 and is 120 credits. This course is 12 months in duration and is being funded by Osman’s Wholesale Hardware.

Savendran Susai who is the principal and director of SAAAC Durban is absolutely delighted about the opportunity to reach out to the community and allow people to engage in academic studies.

Susai and his team have already handed bursaries to lucky Grade 12 pupils at Riverdene Secondary, Overport Secondary, Sparks Estate Secondary and Brookdale Secondary Schools and are now offering the opportunity to two lucky readers of the Rising Sun.

All interested persons are required to submit a motivational email to [email protected] and explain why you should be awarded a 100 percent Tuition Fee bursary. The closing date is Monday, November 6, 2017 and all contact details must also be included.

The minimum age requirement is 17-years-old. All correspondence received will be screened and the lucky individuals whom are awarded the bursary will only pay for their registration, book and exam fees and the academic fees for the entire course is funded!

SAAAC is an official and registered skills academy/college with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB Provider Registration 300934) and is listed on FASSETS database as an accredited training provider (A585000158).
SAAAC will be providing the tuition and all exams are external. Qualifications upon successful completion will be awarded from FASSET (SETA).

SAAAC has been in existence in Durban since 2014 and is being nurtured by local entrepreneur Savendran Susai who has 13 years of teaching experience in the FET sector.

All qualifications of all courses offered by the institution are externally examined and qualifications are issued directly by service providers.

The institution boasts a 100 percent pass rate in their Faculty of Tourism in 2014 and 2015 and student are excelling very well. SAAAC has a presence in KwaZulu-Natal, Pretoria, Queenstown, Sterkstroom and East London and looks forward to reaching out to the community though this amazing bursary opportunity.
