St Michael’s swimmers excel in gala

The swimming gala was enjoyed by all participants.

Dignitaries, executive members from KZN Aquatics, members of the eThekwini Municipality Sport and Recreation Department and KZN Basic Education and Councillor Dr Bobby Maharajh of Ward 34.

KZN Aquatics, together with the eThekwini Municipality Sport and Recreation Development Department hosted a swimming gala at the Firwood Road pool, recently.

The event is a culmination of the 2017 eThekwini LTS Programme.

“This event is held annually and is open to all primary schools in the area. However, only St Michael’s Primary School participated actively and performed extremely well,” said coach, Siya Jali. 

The event was attended and supported by dignitaries and executive members from KZN Aquatics, the eThekwini Municipality Sport and Recreation Department, KZN Basic Education and Councillor Dr Bobby Maharajh of Ward 34.
