Five injured in Mount Batten Drive collision

One of the vehicles which was involved in the collision.

Five people were injured, one seriously so, after two vehicles collided in a T-bone format on Mount Batten Drive in Reservoir Hills, on Friday evening.

The police were at the scene and will be investigating further.

Just after 6pm, Rescue Care paramedics arrived at the scene and found the two badly cars on opposite sides of the road.

One man sustained serious injuries and was stabilised at the scene by Advanced Life Support paramedics before being transported to a nearby hospital.

The remaining four injured patients were also treated at the scene and then transported to hospitals.
