Professional talks were done by industry experts in their respective fields including that of business, entrepreneurship, sport and health. These speakers shared their insights on how they defined their paths, both in their personal lives and professional careers.

As part of the conference, pupils were also required to join in for team building exercises as well as practical team work tasks, one of which included drawing a poster called ‘Boy meets World’ based on their own life experiences and those of the day’s guest speakers.

Pupils were also treated to a short bus tour of Durban’s Golden Mile. They were also awarded certificates of participation, individual gift hampers, a chess kit and football bibs.
