Empowering pupils to create a sustainable environment

Seen are some of the pupils who participated together with members of the Durban Solid Waste (DSW).

A waste management reading promotion competition was launched to encourage pupils to create a safe, clean and sustainable environment.

Pupils participate in four different categories which include storytelling, poetry and artwork under the theme ‘Waste is Wealth, Keep eThekwini Beautiful’. A total of 60 schools are due to participate in the competition.
